The idea is to create a broad network to foster dialogue between key players, share important information, generate new collaborations and gather solid scientific data to validate and promote alternative methods to animal experimentation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"main_objectives_of_the_network\"><\/span><strong>Main objectives of the network&nbsp;<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Building links and dialogue across private, public and regulatory sectors<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gather expertise, essential information and data (strengthening scientific evidence)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Promoting new collaborations and events, as well as funding opportunities and resource mobilization<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Training and educating the scientific community on&nbsp;NAMs<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"tools\"><\/span>Tools<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"a_linkedin_group\"><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/groups\/12917398\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">A Linkedin group<\/a><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>With more than 430 <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">members (from industry, biotech, academia, etc, and different regions of the world), it was launched <\/span>for daily \/ regular interactions and information sharing ;
